Rev. Claire Bohman, Sojourn Program Director
Reverend Claire Bohman has served marginalized communities of the bay area for over a decade. She has worked in the community mental health field as a Case Manager, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counselor in the Tenderloin, South of Market, and Mission Districts. Additionally, she has worked as a faith based community organizer largely on the south and eastern sides of the city. In 2012, during her first year of service as a Chaplain with Sojourn Claire fell in love with the General.
Rev. Claire is an Interfaith Minister and a practitioner of Earth based spirituality. She completed a Masters of Divinity program as a Deans Scholar at the Pacific School of Religion with an emphasis on Spiritual Sare and Liberation Theology. She has also studied Interfaith Ministry at the New Seminary of New York, the United State’s oldest Interfaith seminary. Rev. Claire is ordained through the Interfaith Temple of New York and serves in leadership of a small Earth based spiritual community. Claire participated in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at John Muir Hospital in Concord and Walnut Creek, CA and with CPSP while doing clinical hours at SFGH. Additionally, she has studied plant based healing at Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine and has a private practice in herbal and spiritual healing in the East Bay.

Rev. Floyd Trammel, Spiritual Care Manager
Ordained by the American Baptist Church, Floyd is a graduate of Morehouse College and received a masters degree from the American Baptist Seminary of the West. Floyd did his chaplaincy training at CPMC’s Institute of Health and Healing and is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Pastoral Care and Counseling at San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, California. In the fall of 2008, he was a guest lecturer at the University of Berkeley where he focused on the plight and progression of the Spirituality in America. As the Spiritual Care Manager he has embraced the calling to serve the diverse population of San Francisco General Hospital. His first experience in the hospital setting consisted of Clinical Pastoral Care at California Pacific Medical Center Institute for Health and Healing. At California Pacific Medical Center, Rev. Trammell focused his areas of studies in the Emergency Room, ICU, Dialysis, and Palliative Care. Floyd is the Co-Chair of Schwartz Center Rounds at San Francisco General Hospital.

David Stickley, Administrative Coordinator
David joined Sojourn Chaplaincy in April 2014, bringing with him a wealth of Retail Management and Office Administration experience. He holds a degree in Business Management from Ithaca College, and a degree from School for Deacons in Diaconal studies. Ordained in June 2009, David is an Archdeacon in the diocese of California, currently deployed at St. Francis Episcopal Church in San Francisco, and having also served at St. Aidan’s and Holy Innocents.
