A Chaplain Visit: What to expect

We are here to listen
                                We are here to listen

Our chaplains are here to offer you emotional and spiritual support.  Soon after you contact us, you will receive an visit from a member of our spiritual care team.  You will meet a trained chaplain who’s only agenda is to listen and offer care.  Expect a visit from someone who is trained to support you and be present with whatever is on your heart.  Sometimes chaplains will pray or offer guided meditation or breathing exercises with patients, but only if that is something that feels supportive for you.  We are here because we know the hospital can be a hard place to be and sometimes having a caring presence can make it little bit easier.
